$2,000 | The IGAF awards $2,000 Ann Griffel Scholarships to Iowa high school senior girls who have a passion for golf and intend to further their education at an Iowa institution of higher learning, whether a college, university or trade school.

$1,000 | Awarded to students that are interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college.

Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship
One $1,000 scholarship annually will be awarded to one male and one female Iowan. Eligible recipients are students who will be in their junior or senior year of high school. The award must be used in pursuit of post high school education. .

DAR Good Citizen Scholarship

DMACC Scholarship
Varies (Averages $500) | The application deadline is Friday, March 3rd at 4 p.m. Minimum Eligibility Criteria: Current High School Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Plan on attending any DMACC Campus and taking at least 6 credit hours at DMACC.
DSA of North Central Iowa Scholarship

Grand Lodge of Iowa – Masonic Scholarship
Varies | Any graduating senior who is seeking higher education. Applicants need to complete the application, complete a 100 word essay, and have a letter of recommendation from a counselor or principal.
Grand Lodge of Iowa – Technical Scholarship
Varies | For seniors who are planning to enroll in a mechanical or trade course of study at an Iowa Community College. Applicants will be required to fill out an application.
Harding Lodge #649
$2,000 | For seniors who are planning to attend a two or four year program. Applicants will be required to fill out an application and possibly complete an interview if selected by the committee.
Hagan Scholarship
Up to $40,000 | Seniors who live in Iowa, have a 3.5 or higher GPA, ACT score of 23 or higher, enroll in college following high school, and work 240 hours in the 12 months prior to the start of college. See counselor for more information, they have a brochure with additional information.
Herman Sani Scholarship
$8,000 ($2,000 per year) | Any graduating high school senior and resident of the State of Iowa with experience or background in golf is eligible to apply. Each recipient receives $8,000 ($2,000 per year) over a consecutive four-year period as long as the student is making reasonable academic progress.
Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship
Varies | Applicant must be a senior planning to attend college and working for Hy-Vee. Must has began employment on or before September 15, 2015 or a high school senior of a full, regular, or part-time Hy-Vee employee who has a minimum of six months of employment. Iowa Automobile Dealers Foundation Scholarship
$250 (2) | For students who will attending a two or four year institution in Iowa and have worked to prepare with their school counselor and ICAN.
Iowa Communication Alliance Scholarship
$2,500 | Applicants must: Be a graduating high school senior or current student enrolled in an institution of higher learning, Be accepted/or be enrolled by an accredited four-year college/university, Live in a household that receives any local telecommunication service from an Iowa Communications Alliance member, & Express an interest to live and work in a rural community following graduation
Iowa Credit Union Foundation

Iowa Financial Know-How Challenge
$2,000 | Open to all Seniors planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college following high school. Provided by Iowa Student Loan. Students will need to register and then complete 2 tutorials followed by multiple choice assessments. The 30 students with the highest scores will win the scholarship.
Iowa Heartland Credit Union Scholarship
$500 (2) | Awarded to two graduating seniors who have a GPA of 2.0 or better, planning to attend a 2 or 4 year school, and complete an essay on the application. The link for the scholarship will be on a rotating picture on the website, www.iowaheartland.org.
Iowa Newspaper Foundation Scholarships
$500 – $1,000 | Several scholarships for students preparing for a career in the newspaper industry. The application process is entirely online this year and can be completed by visiting the scholarship application link on the homepage.
Iowa PGA Foundation Scholarship
$1,500 for Four Years | Any graduating senior who is a resident of Iowa. The winners will be selected based on their interest and activity in golf, the potential for future contributions to the game, leadership skills/community involvement, academic ability, and financial need. Must complete an application, have two letters of recommendations, and a self-statement.
Iowa Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship
$500 | Awarded to a young man or woman who is an American citizen, an Iowa resident, planning to attend an Iowa technical school, college, or university, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and has financial need.
Iowa State University – Hixson Opportunity Award
Half-tuition, offered annually | This committee is looking for candidates who are have high ability and determination, but have more modest circumstances and means to afford college. Students must have extreme financial need, which is reflected on their FAFSA
Janice Scott Memorial Scholarship
$2,500 | Applicants must be a US Citizen, GPA of 3.0 or higher, High School Senior planning to attend school within the fifty states, demonstrate leadership skills through community of extra curricular involvement, combined adjusted income of parents cannot exceed $50,000. Will need to complete an application, include transcripts, financial document, senior picture, and a 500-1000 word essay.
Mason City Area Retired School Personnel
$250 | For a high school senior who is interested in going into the field of education, not necessarily teaching. Need to complete an application, two letters of recommendation, and an original essay.
Nancy Whaley Memorial Scholarship
$1250 | One-year scholarships for female students graduating from Clear Lake High School who have attended and been confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church and will be attending an accredited university, junior college, or trade school. Recipients must demonstrate the abilities required to successfully complete the requirements of the institution chosen. They must have served their community through volunteer work and been active in both school and church activities. Students must complete the “common application” on the community foundation website.
NIACC Foundation Scholarship
Varies | Available to any graduating senior who is planning to attend NIACC in the fall. Each student fills out a common application and the foundation applies each student to the scholarship they are eligible for. You must create a username and password before you can begin the application.
North Iowa Builders Scholarship
$1,000 annually | High school seniors who are pursuing a career in the building and trades field. Need to complete application. See counselor.
North Iowa Oral Surgery Scholarship
$1,000 renewable up to $4,000 | The North Iowa Oral Surgery Scholarship Award Program will award two deserving high school seniors, who will attend a College, University or Technical school in the State of Iowa, with a $1,000 scholarship award. This award is renewable for a maximum of four years of undergraduate study if the student maintains and meets the necessary criteria.

$500 – $10,000 | The ACACIA Leadership Scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated their ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities, and human service.
