Banding Together to Help End World Hunger

Students are actively learning how to make a positive difference to feed hungry children around the world. Guest speaker Mike Miller (a Mary’s Meals representative from Iowa) recently visited with middle school students to explain his mission of feeding hungry children in Africa through a program called Mary’s Meals.

His experiences provided students with a first-hand account of living conditions and struggles for Liberia. Mike will return to Africa in January to continue with the mission of helping feed children around to globe at a low cost of $10 per year. Mike challenges each one of us to have an "attitude of gratitude" by treating one another with kindness and being thankful for all that we have in our own lives.
